Jessica Gavrich Espiritu

Jessica Gavrich Espiritu is an Of Counsel attorney with Winderweedle, Haines, Ward & Woodman. Ms. Espiritu primarily practices in the areas of Corporate Law, Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity, Health Law and Business Transactions. Jessica represents clients of all disciplines in corporate matters and transactions, including acquisitions, private equity offerings, corporate restructurings, joint ventures and other strategic partnerships. Jessica also regularly advises physician groups, suppliers and other health care clients in business transactions, employment agreements, licensing agreements and regulatory matters such as Stark and antikickback compliance. Jessica also has extensive experience representing banking clients in complex business litigation and creditors’ rights matters.

Ms. Espiritu earned her B.S., summa cum laude, in Finance from the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida in 2004. In 2007, Jessica received her J.D., cum laude, from University of Florida College of Law, where she served as Managing Editor for the Florida Law Review and Chief Justice of the Student Body Supreme Court. As a law student, Jessica received the Book Award in Legal Research & Writing and was published in the University of Florida Law Review.

Jessica clerked for Winderweedle, Haines, Ward & Woodman during the 2005 and 2006 summers. Following law school, Jessica was admitted to both the Florida Bar and the New York Bar and practiced law with prestigious international law firms in Orlando and New York City. Jessica joined Winderweedle, Haines, Ward & Woodman in 2014 after moving back to Central Florida with her husband and three daughters, Julia, Olivia and Emilia. In her free time, Jessica enjoys time with family, volunteer work with the Orange County Public School System, traveling and following Florida Gator football.
