Mya M. Hatchette was recently appointed to a volunteer board position on the Seminole County Planning and Zoning Commission. Mya practices mainly in the areas of complex business and commercial real estate litigation and healthcare compliance issues and disputes in the firm’s Winter Park office. Seminole County’s Planning and Zoning Commission consists of seven volunteer, unpaid members appointed by the Board of County Commissioners to advise on planning and land development matters. The Planning and Zoning Commission meets once a month to hear and make recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners on proposed zoning and land use changes. Mya will serve a four year term, effective December 2014.
