Ryan E. Davis has become board certified in Business Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification. The American Board of Certification (ABC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the public and improving the quality of the bankruptcy bar. The rigorous ABC certification standards, which Davis completed, include a minimum of 5 years of practicing law, 400 hours of bankruptcy experience, at least 60 hours of bankruptcy continuing legal education and a day-long written examination. The ABC is co-sponsored by The American Bankruptcy Institute and the Commercial Law League of America.
Davis practices in bankruptcy law, including Chapter 11 reorganizations and complex Chapter 7 liquidations. He represents commercial lenders, landlords, corporate debtors, trade creditors, asset purchasers, and other interested parties in large bankruptcy cases throughout the State. In addition to his bankruptcy practice, Davis handles commercial litigation matters, typically involving creditors’ rights, including commercial foreclosures, construction lien foreclosures, and contract disputes.
